G.A.P Adventures brings the world of adventure to the street. New York is our fifth concept store. The success of our newest location, along with our Melbourne, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary locations, stems from the open, interactive nature of our concept stores, which draw in curious travellers who want to personalize their adventure travel plans, learn a bit about our different kind of travel or attend one of our informative and fun special events.

About our Concept Stores
Our street-level concept stores were created for you - travellers - who are looking to learn a little more about the world of adventure travel. The ability to stop by and chat face-to-face with one of our Adventure Specialists or surf our website and pick up our latest brochure draws many people through the doors. Each store offers a welcoming, friendly environment and is focused less on store and more on experience. For anyone that isn't sure if adventure travel is for you, we offer videos from our record-breaking 'Great Adventure People' TV series, which highlights real travellers on real G.A.P Adventures trips.
Each store features a large world map and weekly featured trips to help you plan out that next vacation. Special evening events and seminars are held at all our locations as well. These popular events often feature informative slideshows on our destinations, but we also throw in some fun events like Thai cooking classes or lessons on Travel Writing! You can visit each store's webpage and sign up to their 'events' list, to be kept in the loop.
