  • Coffee tasting

This week we are joined by Ryan Conery who works for Espresso Neat for a night of coffee tasting. Here is what Ryan had to say about his experiences in the coffee biz:

Coffee is a positive product. Traveling through Central and South America I gained an appreciation for great coffee and what it takes to produce great coffee. Constantly being surrounded by coffee plants and coffee people I started to think about where my coffee originates. The idea that every cup has a story becomes clear when interacting with the people whose lives depend on every cup sold. Working with coffee provides the opportunity to experience such colorful cultures while working hard to create positive relationships between growers, producers, and consumers. As the average consumer becomes more knowledgeable about coffee, industry standards will continue to rise along with the quality of every cup. My presentation will focus on
the origins of coffee, but I will also discuss the specialty coffee industry and how it is revolutionizing coffee as we know it.

Join us for a deliciously informative night of coffee tasting. A $2 suggested donation for Planeterra will be collected at the door.
