Day 1 Arrive Marrakech
Arrive in Marrakech at any time.
Day 2 Imlil/Aremd (B,D)
Journey to the Toubkal region to our first stop at Imlil. Enjoy the breathtaking nature and take a leisurely stroll through the city streets. Just outside of Imlil is the little village of Aremd village, with a population of 1200 people. This is our home for the next week with its fantastic views and clean mountain air.
Day 3 Tamatert (B,L,D)
Tamatert is nature at its best in Morocco. Spend the full day trekking the trails through the magnificent mountain landscape. Ascend to the Tamatert pass where the fabulous view over the neighbouring valleys and summits, including the majestic Mount Toubkal peak, will keep you in awe.
Day 4 Tizi M’zik (B,L,D)
Lace up those hiking boots for another full day of exploring the Atlas Mountains as you pass through age-old traditional Berber stone and Adobe villages which cling to the mountain sides. The Tizi M’zik pass has superb views over the Azaden and d’Aït Mizane Valleys and the surrounding peaks. We'll have the chance to be invited into a Berber home to share mint tea with the villagers.
Day 5 Sidi Chamharouch (B,L,D)
Trek along the mountain slopes to find the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, where people from all over the region come with offerings and prayers for good health and wellness.
Day 6-7 Imlil/Marrakech (2B)
Complete our journey with one last short trek back to Imlil. The afternoon is spent travelling back to Marrakech, a symbol of what Morocco once was, a romantic city of narrow streets and medieval times. A historical tour will bring this fascinating city alive and you can truly experience the craziness of the souks to find those last minute treasures.
