Day 1 Arrive Johannesburg
Arrive in Johannesburg at any time.
Day 2 Blyde River Canyon (B,L,D)
Head east towards Mpumalanga through a landscape characterized by mountains, panoramic passes, valleys, rivers, waterfalls and forests. Camp the night in Blyde River Canyon.
Day 3-4 Kruger National Park (2B,2L,2D)
Big game country where exciting game drives provide excellent game viewing. Spot lion, elephant, rhino and other animals in the African wilderness.
Day 5 Marracuene (B,L,D)
The journey continues to Mozambique with a stop in Marracuene - a popular resting stop for people traveling through southern Mozambique.
Day 6-7 Inhambane (2B,2L,2D)
Pass through the Old European settlement of Inhambane haunted by the memories of the old slave trade along the coast.
Day 8-9 Maputo (2B,L)
Travel further south to the country's capital, Maputo.
Day 10-11 Swaziland (2B,2L,2D)
Journey to Swaziland where you can go horse riding, mountain biking, trailing, game viewing or visit a Swazi Village.
Day 12-13 Zululand (2B,2L,2D)
Re-enter South Africa and travel to St Lucia on the coast. Visit the Umfolozi Game Reserve which is a safe haven for both the white and black rhino and contains the rest of the "Big 5".
Day 14 Durban (B,L)
Drive to Durban to enjoy the sandy beaches and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
Day 15-16 Drakensberg Mountains (2B,2L,2D)
Depart early for a two-night stay in the spectacular Drakensberg Mountain range. Soak up the sun by relaxing at the hotel or enjoy optional activities.
Day 17-18 Hogsback (2B,2L,2D)
Leave the Southern Drakensberg for a scenic drive to Hogsback. Spend the next two days relaxing in the serenity of the mountains, or hiking along the many trails in the area.
Day 19 Addo Elephant National Park (B,L,D)
Addo, the valley of elephants and roses, lies in the Lower Sundays River Valley, stretching from the Indian Ocean to the Zuurberg Mountains.
Day 20-21 Tsitsikamma (2B,2L,2D)
Visit the Tsitsikamma National Park. Next day, relax on the beach (weather permitting), or enjoy the day doing some shopping. For the more adventurous, optional activities include abseiling, sea kayaking, mountain biking, and bungee jumping.
Day 22 Outdshoorn (B,L,D)
Travel over the Outeniqua Mountains into the Little Karoo. In Oudtshoorn visit the Cango Caves and take an optional tour of an ostrich farm where one can ride one of these huge birds.
Day 23 Stellenbosch (B,L)
Today visit Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa. Enjoy a day of wine tasting, and wine buying and sip more than our great South African wines – taste the South African way of life.
Day 24 Cape Town (B)
Drive to Cape Town, the "mother city", where you can climb Table Mountain or take the cable car. Spend the afternoon catching up on last-minute curio shopping or just lazing on the beach absorbing the Cape's sunshine.
Day 25 Depart Cape Town (B)
