Day 1 Arrive Quito
Arrive in Quito at any time.
Day 2 Galapagos (L,D)
Fly from Quito to the Galapagos Islands, transfer to our air-conditioned yacht, and begin cruising the magnificent islands!
Day 3-5 Galapagos (3B, 3L, 3D)
Visit several islands, viewing wildlife and soaking up the spectacular scenery. Each day, travel with our naturalist guide from the yacht to the islands, via a small, motorized launch. On land, explore the islands as our guide interprets the natural history and educates us on the interesting wildlife. Most days you can snorkel among sea lions, or just relax out on deck.
Day 6 Quito (B)
Visit one last island before flying back to Quito. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy some free time to explore.
Day 7 Quito / Lima
Fly to Lima. Flight is unescorted, not included and must be pre-booked.
Day 8 Cuzco
Transfer to the airport early this morning for the flight to Cuzco (as early as 4am). In Cuzco meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Relax or explore the ancient Incan spiritual sites of Sacsayhuaman and Tambo Machay.
Day 9 Sacred Valley / Ollantaytambo
Travel with our local guide through the Sacred Valley, including the picturesque town and Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo.
Day 10-13 Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (3B,3L,3D)
Begin your once in a lifetime journey on the ancient trail of the Incas with a morning trip to km 82, where our hike starts. Local porters and guides ensure that the trip is worry-free. Fascinating ruins and spectacular mountain scenery fill every day of the hike. On the final day, climb the steps to Intipunku, the 'Sun Gate', to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu before our tour of the famous Inca ruin. We return to Cuzco for the night.
Day 14 Depart Cuzco
