Day 1 Arrive Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul at any time.
Day 2 Istanbul, Night train (B)
This morning we have an included city tour of Istanbul and you will have some free time to enjoy some optional activities in the afternoon. In the evening we will board our sleeper night train.
Day 3 Capadoccia (B)
Explore the capital city of Ankara before you start your journey to Cappadocia with an included visit to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the Ataturk Memorial. Enjoy time and interact over a traditional dinner with a Turkish family, as you spend one of your nights in Capadoccia at family home.
Day 4-5 Capadoccia (2B,D)
CAPPADOCIA, which means 'Land of beautiful horses', is such a unique holiday resort due to Mother Nature's overwhelming generosity. The volcano eruptions whose lava and ashes have long ago been swept away and the land now shaped by rivers, streams, rain, snow and ice. Erosion has created an unsurpassed supernatural landscape. But, Cappadocia's well-deserved reputation as a wonderful place to visit stems also from its people who welcome you so generously.
Day 6 Konya (B)
Enroute to Konya, enjoy an included visit to the mystic underground city of Derinkuyu. In the evening, there is time to explore the old capital of the Seljuk Turks.
Day 7 Antalya (B)
Journey back in time as you have an visit to the Mevlana Museum and the fascinating Graeco-Roman sites of Aspendos and Perge.
Day 8 Uçagiz (B)
A stop at Phaselis, an ancient Lycian city, and a short trip to Chimaera, where you can see the eternal flame are included before continuing on to the beautiful coastal village of Uçagiz where we check-in our boat for one unforgettable night on board ( from May to November ).
Day 9 Kas (B)
Today we enjoy a boat excursion to discover the well preserved archaeological sites along the northern edge of Kekova island, some of the old houses were completely immersed by earthquakes during the Byzantine period. We travel round the island by boat allowing us to see the site below the surface, later we walk up to the Simena castle to enjoy the views and archaeological ruins.
We overnight in the charming costal town of Kas.
Day 10 Pumukkale (B)
Continue to the inner Aegean region to the well known Cotton Fortress, Pamukkale. We visit the pamukkale formation and Hierapolis antic site.
Day 11 Selçuk (B)
We continue to Selcuk, and stroll the breathtaking ruins of Ephesus.
Day 12 Bergama (B)
Travel to the magnificent Acropolis of Pergamon to visit and spend the night in in Bergama.
Day 13 Çanakkale (B)
An included visit to the world famous Troy. Contemplate the stories behind this fascinating city and enjoy time to explore the historical site.
Day 14 Galliploi, Istanbul (B)
On your way to Istanbul for the last part of your journey you will stop at Gallipoli, where thousands gave their lives in the Battle of the same name. We will see the Anzac cove, The commemorial site, Chunuk bair, Lone pine.
