Day 1 Arrive Cairo
Arrive in Cairo at any time.
Day 2 Cairo (B,D)
Explore the majestic Pyramids and the Great Sphynx in "The Triumphant City", the capital of Egypt. Enjoy a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum, holding many treasures of Tutankhamun's tomb.
Day 3 Aswan (B,D)
A traditional Nubian dinner and a first head glimpse into the fascinating culture awaits. Take a boat ride to the temple of Philae and visit the gigantic unfinished Obelisk. You can take an optional trip to Abu Simbel and see magnificent monuments.
Day 4 Aswan Felucca trip (B,L,D)
Relax and gaze at the sights as our traditional felucca glides down the Nile. Enjoy a night out under the stars.
Day 5-7 Luxor (3B)
Explore Luxor on a donkey ride to the Valley of the Kings. Check out the Temple of Kom Ombo and the Edfu Temple. Ride in a horse-drawn caleche, take a sunset cruise or see the city from a hot-air balloon.
Day 8 Dakhla (B)
Dakhla is an oasis out of Cairo and is one of Egypt's most beautiful spots. Visit Al-Qasr at the foot of the limestone cliffs and on the edge of the lush oasis.
Day 9-10 White Desert (2B,L,D)
Explore the White Desert, a paradise for amateur geologists. See El Baharyia, including the local museum and Bawiti with colourful houses and hot and cold springs.
Day 11 Baharia (B)
Baharia is famous for monuments dating back to the New Kingdom and Roman times. Explore the English Mountain, the golden mummies, the musuem and the hot springs.
Day 12-13 Siwa (2B,L)
Drive to the desert oasis of Siwa, with its lush vegetation and relaxed pace. Explore the maze-like ruins of the mud brick fort. A short bike ride takes you to the Mountain of the Dead and the Temple of the Oracle. Take a dip in Cleopatra's bath or travel by donkey cart for a perfect desert sunset.
Day 14-15 Alexandria (2B)
Alexandria is one of the great ancient centres of learning. Explore the largest Roman burial site in Egypt and the modern Bilbiotheca Alexandrina, built to hold over 8 million books. Visit the Greco-Roman Museum and stroll along the waterfront.
Day 16 Depart Cairo (B)
Catch the train back into Cairo where this adventure concludes around 12:00 (noon).
