Day 1 Arrive Bangkok
Arrive in Bangkok at any time.
Day 2 Bangkok (B)
Chaotic streets, busy canals, tranquil temples, colorful markets and food that defies description - Bangkok truly is the essence of Asia.
Day 3-4 Chiang Mai (2B)
This northern city has long been a traveller's favourite. Try the fantastic street food, shop at the busy night bazaar, or visit any of the hundreds of temples right in the city.
Day 5 Chiang Rai (B)
Verdant green valleys and rolling hills surround this gateway city. With a night market very different to that in Chiang Mai, you will enjoy shopping, eating and listening to the local music.
Day 6-8 Hilltribe Trek (3B,2L,2D)
Trek through the hills of Northern Thailand which are home to a vast diversity of ethnic minorities, each with their own culture, traditions, language and costume. Stay in the simple homes of these locals and learn a little of their way of life.
Day 9-10 Golden Triangle (2B)
With days of the opium trade well in the past, the Golden Triangle is now a peaceful area where Laos, Thailand and Burma meet.
Day 11 Ayutthaya
Change gears with a visit to one of Thailand’s many former capitals, a sleepy riverside town graced with ancient pagodas, palaces and shrines.
Day 12-13 Kanchanaburi/ River Kwai (B,D)
Visit the famous "Bridge on the River Kwai" and other WWII memorials. Travel up river to stay in a floating raft house and visit the beautiful Sai Yok National Park.
