Day 1 Arrive Casablanca
Arrive in Casablanca at any time.
Day 2 Casablanca/Rabat/Meknès (B)
Explore Casablanca, including the exteriors of the Hassan II Mosque, and then travel on to Rabat for a guided visit of the exteriors of the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V mausoleum and the Oudayas Kasbah. Continue in the afternoon to Meknès to spend the night.
Day 3 Meknès/Volubilis/Fez (B)
Explore Meknès at leisure in the morning, then travel to Volubilis for a guided visit. Continue on to Fez to explore this exceptional city.
Day 4 Fez (B)
Enjoy a morning guided historical visit of Fez including the Medersa Bou Inania, the Nejjarine Fountain and the fascinating maze of alleyways of the medina. The afternoon is at leisure to explore this unforgettable city.
Day 5 Fez/Merzouga (B,D)
A full day drive through the cedar and pine forests over the Middle Atlas mountains. Pass through the pre-desert country with its splendid palm groves before ending up in the sand dunes of the desert – all in one day!
Day 6 Merzouga (B,D)
Full day exploration of the highest sand dunes in North Africa, up to 150m. Early evening departure on camel back to a Nomad camp for dinner and overnight in tents.
Day 7 Merzouga/Tineghir/Todgha Gorges (B)
Head off to Tineghir for a visit of the town and a walk in the delese palm groves, before driving to the Todgha Gorges for the evening.
Day 8 Todgha Gorges/Dades Gorges/Ouarzazate/Aït Benhaddou (B)
Visit the delese Dadès Gorges and verdant Dadès Valley. After a stop in Ouarzazate, we head on to the village of Aït Benhaddou for a visit to the famous Kasbah, classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
Day 9 Aït Benhaddou/Imlil/Aremd (B,D)
Leave the pre-desert country for the magnificent High Atlas Mountain landscape, crossing at the Tizi n’ Tichka pass and into the splendid Toubkal National Park.
Day 10 Aremd/Imlil/Essaouira (B)
Enjoy a walk from Aremd to Imlil before driving to Essaouira at mid-day. The afternoon is free to explore Essaouira's romantic ambience, browse the shops and art galleries or take a stroll along the long, sandy beach.
Day 11 Essaouira (B)
Sightsee in Essaouira including the Sqala, the Portuguese fortifications and the centuries old Medina.
Day 12 Essaouira/Marrakesh (B)
Travel to Marrakesh in the afternoon and start exploring! You'll be beckoned by the scents and brilliant colours of the spice markets, the enticing sound of the musicians and acrobats and the delectable food.
Day 13 Marrakesh (B)
Explore Marrakesh including the Koutoubia Minaret and gardens, the Bahia Palace, the Mellah and the Saadian Tombs. The afternoon is free to explore the Souks and the famous Jemaa el Fna Square.
Day 14 Depart Marrakesh (B)
