Day 1 Arrive Calgary
Arrive in Calgary at any time.
Day 2 Waterton National Park
Home of the 1988 Olympics and the world-famous Stampede, Calgary is surrounded by adventure on all sides. Travel to the south of Alberta to World Heritage Head-Smashed-In-Buffalo-Jump for a lesson in a traditional native way of life.
Day 3 Waterton National Park
Discover Waterton National Park, including a boat tour to the start of our hike along the breathtaking Crypt Lake trail. Continue by road to Red Rock Canyon.
Day 4 Fernie
Morning drive to Fernie. Spend the afternoon mountain biking smooth cross country trails, then drive to our remote camp at Whiteswan Park, known for it as natural hot springs—midnight dip anyone?
Day 5-6 Kootenay National Park
Enjoy two days of trail blazing the Continental Divide in breathtaking Kootenay National Park. Hike the Juniper trail, and try optional activities like killer rafting on the Kicking Horse River.
Day 7 Yoho National Park
Morning drive to the Wolf observation centre to learn more about these iconic Canadian animals. In the afternoon explore Yoho National Park on a hike to Takkakaw Falls, free-falling 254m to the river below.
Day 8-9 Lake Louise/Jasper
Morning walk around Emerald Lake, then travel along the Icefields Parkway that drive features some of Canada’s most classic—and stunning—landscapes. Go for a walk on the Athabasca Glacier and keep your eyes peeled for animals!
Day 10 Nordegg
Morning helicopter flight to a mountain top picnic, then take the day to hike down a remote trail. You’ll never run into other hikers here, but maybe some moose!
Day 11-12 Banff
Banff, Canada's first national park, could warrant a trip all its own. Ascend Sulphur Mountain by aerial tram and hike some of the park’s numerous trails; at night return to camp and relax by a crackling fire.
Day 13 Calgary
Free morning in Banff, then afternoon transfer to Calgary. Explore the city before a final night with the group.
