Description
Get a taste of the Amazonian side of Peru on this three-night jungle experience. Travel by motorized canoe two hours up the Tambopata River to Posada Amazonas, a community partnership eco-tourist project jointly owned by the nearby Ese-Eja community. Situated inside the community's private reserve, bungalows are built with one wall open to the jungle - you can't get much closer! Spend your days in the rainforest learning about traditional medicinal plants, and spotting birds and forest animals such as giant river otters and capybara, the world's largest rodent!

You will be met at the airport and taken to Posadas Amazonas via motorized canoe.
Day 2 Posadas Amazonas (B, L, D)
Today you will be given many activity options. These often include piranha fishing, jungle hikes and more.
Day 3 Posadas Amazonas (B, L, D)
Today you'll have a chance to explore. Optional visits may include visiting a local farm. If possible, be sure to try some of the delicious fruits.
Day 4 Depart Puerto Maldonado (B)
Today you'll have some final photo opportunities before your trip back to the Puerto Maldonado airport.
