I came home with a lot of rich memories of a country and people that I admire for their individuality and beauty. The scenery was constantly awe inspiring. I thought the remoteness and weather on the Lares Trek would kill us, but we all managed just fine and I found the trek to be the highlight of my trip for the scenery and the people in the communities.
